ASB and St John - Working Together

Every year our ambulance officers support over 340,000 New Zealanders.

We also provide these valuable community services throughout the country:

  • First aid services for public events
  • St John Safe Kids and Youth programmes
  • First aid training and kits for home, work and recreation
  • St John Caring Caller programme, supporting isolated or housebound people
  • Friends of the Emergency Department (FEDs) for people needing support while they’re in hospital
  • Health Shuttles to take people to and from their medical appointments
  • Outreach Therapy Pets, a joint programme with the SPCA, where approved pets and their owners visit hospital and rest home residents
  • St John Lifelink™ personal medical alarms

By becoming a St John Supporter you will:

  • Help maintain St John services in your community
  • Make it possible for us to develop more services
